Its been about 2 1/2-3mo since I've been working constantly on The N.M.Ramsey Foundation. I'm.......Optimistic. Here in the city I've called everyone I've been directed to and really haven't gotten anywhere. I've lunch a Winter Sale to help raise money for the foundation. No Bites yet....During my time calling around the need is even more evident than I thought. Calling around I got what I didnt expect...Rudeness, lack of care, and frustration. What I am trying to start isNEEDED!!!! There's nothing like what I'm trying to do with this organization.... So why is it so hard to get support???? Why haven't I said screw it you ask? Well.....
I've been working on my business since '07 and that hasn't gone anywhere more than commission base. On top of that I've been terribly ill I didn't know why, until last Dec. I had surgery in Feb. and since then I've been steady working on the bizz. Working on my business probably is what nearly drove me to death.....and working on it again is what has brought me back to life. ATM I'm not actually working on the bizz, I'm working on the Foundation. When I wrote my business plan it was good....As time has gone by I've added thing to it. The foundation is one of those things, and also ATA. I am very passionate about both. I figured if I couldn't work the bizz I would work on the foundation. I Thought it would be easier.....I was wrong.
People I've gone to for help have given me the run a round and bullshit answers to this and that. My Dai Dai says I'm having a hard time because the vision I have for everything is so unique that normal folk cant comprehend........ I'm like really.....WTF. I honestly dont get what so hard about starting a foundation to help visual artist and families in need. Or Whats so hard about getting first round financing from an Angel investor. Then again every one I've talk to damn near has down played my ideas or have flat out told me what I want is too much..... WTF What you mean to much. So what I dont want to settle for any damn thing. I know that's part of my problem....or then again its not. I should have to settle...... no one else does.
IDK I started on the foundation end of Sept. I figured that would be enough time to get everything together. Here it is nearly DEC 1st and.....nothing. Oh yeah...I've been doing leg work for ATA as well....you guest it NADA!! I feel like like I live in a invisible bubble. Or maybe it's this city.....I see people get money for stupid shit and here I am trying to do something legit and I cant get anything....What A video on youtube, a DA, and accounts on every major social networking site.....Am I missing something? Please tell me if I am. I annoyed.....I want so badly to move on but it like I'm on a RAT WHEEL...I'm running.....I'm running.......

So Its been a while. I've been busy battling some issues, but now I have them at bay. So I've converted my" Tools of the Trade" video am going to start working on it...well today it after midnight. LOL. I'm alo going to make another video showcasing my talents. I hope to have both done by weeks end. I be putting them on Youtube!
I have also started my gallery update. I started before my issues started and now need to finish. Another goal for this week. Its also time for another voice dairy. Though the first one is not public, I want to start making some for public hearing.
Soooooo, I'm totally working on MBADOE!!!!! My babies have gotten no love. What MBADOE???? Go to face book and search MBADOE for the explanation! LOL! Well that all for now, see you in a week.
Today I met with my very first student!!! As apart of ATA (the online art channel I'm trying to get off the ground!!) I also want to do the classroom part as well. Teaching actual students!!! With my pupil, we went to the local art store and I gave him a tour of the store explaining all the different tools and mediums. Currently my student only works in mechanical pencil.....BORING!!!! My goal is to expand his skill set and mediums in witch he works in. He has interest in animation and is think of a career in it. We are also going to work on his portfolio for art school. WE have a long ways to go but I think he will do extremely well......Of Course he will I'M HIS TEACHER!!!! Our journey has began!!!
BTW If your interested in donating to the cause please email me. In an older post I explained what ATA and The N.M.Ramsey Foundation is. Right now they both are in need of funds. If not money, than for ATA: Project Classroom then new supplies would be nice as well. The supplies can range from traditional mediums, to computers, to CAD Software, to technique books, to your time and expertise if you are a highly skilled artist and so on and ect.
I Plan to enroll more student in the class. The age range for this project currently is 13-18 years. So if you are in the Jacksonville Fl, or nearby surrounding areas and would like to participate in the lessons and classes EMAIL ME!!! The cost per class is $25 or $100 a month. For Now ATA: Project Classroom will meet once a week. Typically with me each class will last 90-120mins. You'll learn more than just a technique. There will be theory along with everything else. Yes, that mean quizzes as well!!! I'm all for actual ARTIST Education!!! For personal sessions (no matter the age) the cost is $35/hr.

Ramsey Creations have a vision and desire to educate, expand, and help fellow artist as well as the community. I wish todo this artistic/humanitarian venture by doing the following:
ATA (All Things Art) is an online art channel I'm starting. The channel would host videos on art. From tutorials to industry tips, it can all be found there. The channel will also seek to highlight artist with interviews, showcasing of works and other ventures the artist is trying to accomplish. The channel will also be a teaching tool exploring different methods and techniques of the Visual Arts. There will be information on the other art areas as well, but the main focus is Visual Arts, because too often Visual Arts are over looked and taken lightly.
The N.M. Ramsey Foundation is dedicated to helping people. Many services in the area are swamped with people, but have no funds, or peoples’ situation is not critical enough for them to help. The N.M. Ramsey foundation will help anyone with probable cause and evidence they need a helping hand. The foundation will to give special attention to artists who need help. Often help is not easy to come by for artists who are trying to start a business or who are ill, need food, support or just need a little help. The foundation is also very interested in having monies that will be awarded as scholarships to artist who demonstrate need.
At this time I am in need of donations to make this happen. N.M. Ramsey Creations is asking for donations of $100 or greater, but any donation $25 and greater would be greatly appreciated!!
